Nanny CheckList

      Please note that the following information needs to be in your file prior to mailing your profile to prospective families.

1. Your application: Please keep in mind that families will request copies of your application, so your penmanship, spelling and punctuation are important and should be professional when viewed. You do not need to type it, a hand written copy is fine.
2. A one-page biography: Please write a one-page brief biography of yourself that would help the hiring client family to know you better. Use a separate sheet of paper. You may include a description of your likes, interests, activities, honors, awards, memberships and hobbies.
3. Two recent photographs:These can be candid or studio portraits. Please send actual photographs and no photocopies, please.
4. Four references:Please ask the individual who is providing the reference to mail or fax it directly to our office. No relatives for references. They can be teachers, counselors, families for whom you have done childcare, former employers, religious leaders, or family friends. Two of the references should be childcare related. Please confirm with the references after a week to make sure they have sent the reference form to us.
5. Copy of highest education. (copy of diploma, degree, certificate, etc.)
6. Copy of current clearances. ( For state of Pa, copy of Criminal Record Check and copy of Child Abuse History Clearance). 7. Copy of social security card
8. Proof of US Residency (Green Card, Alien Resident, Alien Resident Card, Work Visa or if you were born in US, an official copy of your birth certificate or US passport.)
9. Copy of driver’s license.(if you have one)
10. Copy of resume.(if you have one)
11. Copy of CPR/First Aid certifications.
12. Nanny agency agreement form with signature.
